You will need at least a Bachelor’s degree in order to qualify for your teaching credentials. Assuming you have no credits, start out with the local community college and then go on to the local university (the registrar will be able to tell you what classes you will need to take–some might be able to be taken on-line). Getting a Bachelor’s degree in education will take 4 to 5 years of classes, including summers.
If you already have a Bachelor’s degree in another area, contact your state department of education or local school district to see if they have an alternative certification program; they will have the specifics of what you will need to do to get your credentials.
Its about a month long intensive course and at the end of it you will be able to teach foreigner children how to speak english.

There is no fast and easy way. Of course, there are organizations that fast-track teachers by getting them a paid teaching position while they take classes at night and on the weekeneds. I assume there are one or two in NC.
But most of those teachers fail. There is no built-in support mechanism.
No teaching job is easy, but I think most teachers would agree that junior high (or middle school) is the most difficult.
