is passion a great factor in choosing a college course?

I would say that passion is an important factor. However you have to make an educated choice also. On one hand, you won’t be happy if you choose a course that you have no passion for. But on the other hand you must choose a course that you are passionate about, but will also benifit you’re career path.

I feel that passion is an important factor as well as financial security, talent, growth, knowledge, and education. Choosing a career that you have a passion for will be very rewarding because you will be doing something you love. But always ask yourself this question before making a life changing decision: Are you doing it for the money or are you doing it for the joy that you puts in your heart? If money is not a factor I personally say follow your heart.
