Is Ohio State a good university accedemicly?

Ohio State has many high ranked programs for different areas of study, it just depends on what you are interested in. I’m going to be a freshman this fall going into journalism/communications, and I know they were recently recognized as a great school for mass communications. Ohio State is also attracting the best students from across the country, as this year’s freshman replace last year’s as the smartest class to ever come to Ohio State. Overall the answer is yes. They are consistently ranked in the top colleges for many of their degree programs. Specifically you would need to research your major or program of interest to find out its reputation as it is overall good but is definitly outstanding in several different programs.
