Is marriage going to be a problem for a students?

I’m just curious…

Is it really going to be a problem for other countries’ students and is it allowed in high schools or colleges?

My sisters married early but she said “No, it’s not a problem at all.” and I want other peoples’ opinions and I want to see if it’s true or not.

It CAN be a problem, of course, because once you are married, you are responsible for more than just your own life, and school has to come second to your family. It is particularly difficult once you have children, because being a student takes money and time that you may feel should go to your children instead.

On the other hand, I know several people who have managed it very successfully. One of my college friends got married to a high school classmate for the sole purpose of supporting one another through school. She worked to put him through school, then he worked to put her through school, then they each went through a master’s program with the other supporting them. One of my colleagues, who married in college, says that he became a better student after he got married because he was more settled and responsible. And our top student this year was a young woman who was married, so it can definitely be done.

High school is quite different. Most high school students aren’t really mature enough to handle marriage, and the temptations of being surrounded by other students, all of whom are available, might not be good for those marriages. I do know of one woman who got married at 15 and has been married for over 30 years, but I think that she is very much the exception.
