Is going to college at age 36 encouraging?
Favorite Answer
I returned to college at 34 after being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years. It was the best decision of my life. Now, I’m 52 and just started working on my Master’s degree. You have nothing to lose by trying. I say, Go for it!
1.you have interest in learning, however odd it might be
2. you have deep interest to learn and master a particular field of study in which you have exposure or you are likely to work in near future
3. you did not select the subject of study, just by chance but by intense desire to complete and master it either for acquiring knowledge or to really arm yourself for better acumen in the business you run
4. The subject of study of your interest is readily available and you have the access to it at affordable cost
5. you have the time to complete the study without any harm to your dependents either financially or otherwise
6.you would develope a community of people for friendship and guidance who would support and encourage you in your endeavor for higher knowledge on your selected subject of study
7. you would not be disturbed on account of anything to stop this study till you complete the course and you have the unrelenting urge, passion and commitment to finish the assignment, successfully!
Still more can be added, but your sincerity, devotion and dedication to the course of your study is essential and important to keep your tempo in achieving what you aim for in educating yourself at this age of 36! Get it with your best of will power and good luck to you!
Kudos to you !!!!
