Is Bennington college a respectable school to go to?
I havent heard much about it but it is supposed to be high ranking. Can i get some opinions? possibly from someone who went there?

It’s not nearly as prestigious as the other three schools you mentioned. I’d never heard of it until you mentioned it, and I’m pretty familiar with a *lot* of schools.

Bennington is respectable. It’s a small, liberal arts college, and some consider it part of the “baby Ivys” – elite, liberal arts colleges like Amherst, Middlebury and etc. However, of the baby Ivys, I’d consider it the least prestigious.

Bennington has been around for a long time. It was originally for women; I think it is now co-ed but I am not sure — check their web site to see, as welll as to learn what courses are available, as well as the fees. As a private institution, it won’t be cheap.

Yes. It is very well thought of. I didn’t go there but I’m in the academic world.
