I also agree with the above answers in that you should read and that will help you increase your vocabulary. There are also some information out there and programs that might be able to help you. I’ve included these links …..they might help http://www.spelling.hemscott.net/vocab1.html and http://verbaladvantage.com/shop/product_details.cfm?prod_ID=57&CFID=8012192&CFTOKEN=69002344……….http://dictionary.reference.com/features/learningnewwords.html ……http://www.answers.com/topic/vocabulary…….

Get a book at any bookstore on *How to Increase Your Vocabulary in 30 Days*. Those are all very helpful.

Without a doubt, the best way to increase your vocabulary is to read as much as you can. Keep a dictionary beside you and use it. You might consider getting trade journals from the industry you’re about to work in and read those, that way you’ll get the jargon used in that particular industry. You’ll also learn what’s going on in the industry and you’ll have a strong knowledge base for your new employment.

Try reading novels. Those stuffs would help you increase your vocabulary. Most effectively. My trainor in a call center gave that tip. It has been my hobby to read novels even before too! And it helped me improve my vocabulary & grammar alike.
