In college, should I study Arabic or Spanish?

You should think about what kind of work you would want to do after graduation. With knowledge of the Spanish language, you could work in both foreign and domestic areas, since so many people in the US speak Spanish now. It would be helpful for education, health care, business, travel. Arabic is a language very centralized to one location, so it would be help full in international relations with a major in political science, or international business. You may be forced to live in big cities that are centers of international activity, to use the Arabic language.
Of course, ultimately you have to decide which will hold your interest the longest. No point in studying something that’s a chore to learn.
Hope this helps and good luck on deciding.
