In Arizona can a person get teacher certification if they have a misdemeanor?

My friend got hers and she has a misdemeanor, we live in Phx.

I’m not familiar with Arizona regulations, but in general, a misdemeanor is not a diqualifications. Otherwise, every college kid with a public intoxication citation would be eliminated from the teacher pool. That’s just not the case.

Go the Arizona state website and check under Teaching or Teachers.
