im taking ap spanish next year, what are ways for me to prepare for the class?

I took AP Spanish Language, and I’m a non native Spanish speaker. To prepare, I think it’s a good idea to review all of the grammer rules. Know the different types of tenses (such as predicate, subjunctive, conditional, etc), what they mean, and how to conjugate verbs in those form.
Learn as much vocabulary as you can. The more the better. Also, practice writing essays on topics and reading spanish text to determine what is the missing word in a sentence or what not. I suggest you get old AP Spanish exams and look at the free response. If you also plan on taking the AP exam, it’s a really good idea to get familiar with how the AP Spanish exam is set up.
Also, practice your speaking. If you know someone who speaks spanish fluently, talk to them as much as you can.
AP Spanish Literature is more about reading paragraphs and stories in Spanish. I never took this class, so I can’t say any more.
Good luck!
Ask the school or teacher directly if you can what dialect they use. This will help with your pre-studying materials.
I found this to be of great service!
Got an A!
