In my experience, it is best to thoroughly read your material a few times as you go along. So if you are comfortable with everything a week or more in advance of your exams, you should always go back again to refresh your memory the day before and/or the day of…

Sure you can pass. But here’s a few things to keep in mind. If you memorize things 2 days before (including the night before) a test, you’re more likely to retain the information. And even though you may have passed the test, you won’t have actually learned anything. You’ll have to re-memorize the same information for another test….like a mid-term or final. It’s better to take a little time each day and go over what you’ve learned that day. At the end of the week, test yourself on your studies. If you get a 90 or above, good job. If you get less, you may want to go over the information again and try to actually learn it. Don’t just try to breeze through school by memorizing. College sucks if you do it that way. It’s better to actually take a little time and learn the information.

Of course! If you “memorize” something then you know it and will do fine, as long as what you memorized is what you will be tested on. You could memorize something the night before an exam and pass, too!

Yes, its’ called cramming. You cram all this information into your head so fast that you will remember it for the exam and forget it soon after. Not the best way to go through school, but it will get you by. Good techniques for memorizing are reading aloud so you hear it as well. When you see, hear, and and speak things, you will remember them better. Also, taking short breaks to rest your brain every couple hours will help, and sleeping right after memorizing a lot will help retain the information better. Good luck.

i suggest: don’t memorize. i would say that you should spend a little time each day studing the material you need to know on a test. about a week before just set aside 20 to 30 minutes to just study for that final. Do this for each final you need to take.

Just review them once or twice a day until exam day.
