However, if you apply to a selective or very selective school, you might have trouble getting credit for your 3.
The benefits of becoming an AP Scholar are really only noticeable if you are going to still be in high school this fall: You can use it as an academic award on college applications.
Even if your college of choice doesn’t grant you credit for your score, it makes you look good on paper for earning a passing score on a national test, thus making you appear more appealing to the admissions office.
As far as the benefits of being an AP Scholar, I believe that it’s a title printed on your high school transcript and on a certificate that you will receive that pretty much tells any reader of your transcript that you not only took AP classes, but you passed enough exams to set yourself apart from those students who just took the exams (and didn’t pass them or pass very many). I see it as the equivalent of getting a certificate for A Honor Roll, but on a national scale.
but most colleges like 4 or 5
i got a 3 on my Bio AP too but all the colleges i plan on applying to accept either a 4 or 5
taking an AP course definitely shows that you are a smart person who likes to challenge yourself.. it looks good on applications and college tend to think of you as a hardworking person
Benefits – looks good on a college application
