Check for organizations that have ideals similar to your own, and join one of those. You will likely meet some new people. I suggest you select an organization that actually DOES something– builds houses for the poor, distributes food, etc.–as I think you will meet a more vibrant crowd there. Best of luck.

Join facebook and list your interest and join groups with people in you network…or have you found a church that has the values that you are looking for…and they should have a group or friendly people you could talk to.

look to your local church. many have bible studies for specific age groups, families, specific interests etc. those groups often have outsied of churches gatherings (ie. super bowl parties, picnics, movie night etc.) they also do retreats and prayer meetings as another avenue to interact.
