I will be a freshman in high school and im way scared!?

Ok, try not to walk around looking scared. You dont want to be the scared new kid. Walk around with confidence even look people in the eye and smile. And if you dont want to carry a bag with your books, then try not to carry more than two textbooks at a time. Any more than that and you look overloaded. As far as clothes go, wear what’s cute yet comfortable. Good luck to you and enjoy high school!

Alli B: No need to be afraid. Everyone goes through their first day of high school. If your classes are on opposite ends of the school, look on the bright side, it gives you more opportunity to run into friends. It’s not a big deal. As for what to wear, honestly, everyone will be too busy to notice, but wear what you feel best in. Something that looks cute and is comfortable.

I’m 24 now and I remember crying the August before my freshman year started because everyone got their schedules besides me. I think mine was lost or something. Don’t dress to impress, your going to school not a night club. Dress casual, a cute pair of capris, sandals and a tank. by being yourself people will respect that, plus you will blend in more. If you go in all dolled up that will be more of a reason for upper classmen to point you out. Just keep the attitude that you have done this a thousand times before. You will do fine, before you know it you will be sitting in your graduation, trust me it flies by!! Have fun.

Well all I can say is hang in there. I 24 years old now and I remember that feeling. I to went to a big school . Over time you’ll have a route that will help. Good luck on your first day.

Don’t worry. Think about it as… the first day of MIDDLE SCHOOL. Don’t be so hard on yourself…or else things WILL BE HARD. I’m also going to High School this September… so yeah it will be fine. Socialize a lot so you won’t feel left out and insecure or something….

Same Here. I have no idea what 2 where, the skool i will go to has thousands of kids, and it is very spread out. Don’t worry though, no matter what u r go’n to get made fun of cause, well, your a freshman,or what some call it “fresh meat”.

dress in some nice jeans and a nice top. sort of casual dressed up. and dont panic….there will b hundreds of kids feeling exactly the same as you..and nothig is ever as bad as we imagine it to be! by the 2nd day, you’ll have just fitted in again with your mates etc. at least you have the choice of what to wear…im in england we have to wear uniforms! it’l b back into my tie and blazer for me lol. good luck x
