I wass just wondering?

I attended a public HS and graduated in 05. Our dress code was ridiculous. We couldnt wear tanks or thin strapped shirts [which sucked in the 105+ weather]. We had to stand up with our hands to our sides and where our finger tips were is how long our shorts/skirts had to be. Our shirts couldnt show ANY belly when arms were raised in the air. Up until my senior year, we couldnt wear flip flops or shoes without backs. Thankfully our class got that code eliminated. One that really sucked is that we couldnt wear destroyed denim jeans! We couldnt wear fish net [who would ne ways?] or anything see through, and our hair had to be a “natural” color.

class of 99. No there was no dress code and when i say no dress code i mean it you could basically wear anything as longas it wasn’t perverted or anything like that. Jocks would go to school with our gym uniforms on you know just very relaxed but the next year they had to wear uniforms. I think wearing uniforms sucks. It takes away your ability to be an individual. They try to suck the fun out of life early to get you ready for the real world but come on you’re supposed to enjoy your school years

I graduated high school in 2002. There wasn’t much of a dress code, basically girls had to have shorts that were not too short, shirts that were not spaghetti strap. Guys were not to wear anything “offensive”.

Theres no dress code at my school but we cant wear like short skirts or spaghetti straps

we have a dress code but no one follows them, and if you don’t they say you’ll get sent home, they just make us put on our gym clothes. our shirt straps have to be 3 fingers width, our shorts and skirts have to be past our finger tips. the dress codes don’t go for thw white girls cause the ones in our sckool our so skinny, that them wearing short shorts don’t mean nothing cause they don’t got nothing.(meaning butts)

I go to a public high school in ct and you aren’t allowed to wear skirts that are too short, spaghetti strap tank tops or hats. that’s really it

No shorts, no shirts w/ profanity, obsenity, or bad contents. Pretty much everything else was excepted. Graduated Texas 2001.

i go to a public highschool. we are told we have a ‘dresscode’ but i dont think so because there are so many girls walking around in skanky skirts and their bellys bustin out. sometimes i cant comprehend how they left the house without their mothers attacking them. i’m in 11th grade, graduating in 09.

our Public high school has no dress code – you where what ever you’d like.

why does it just half to be public schools how come it cant be private schools aswell
