I wanted to know how a person becomes a teacher in Seattle,WA?
I wondered if you have to go through the same things as you do in California. What kind of test do you have to take. Do you have to take the CBEST. What else is involed in becoming a teacher there. I’m in California and wanted to move there but I also want to become a teacher too. Any knowledge you have will be useful.

You have to take the West-B and the Praxis. If you are not already a teacher, then you want to enroll in a teacher certification program in Washington (it saves tons of red tape). If you are already a teacher, you can get a job, but you have to take some Washington State History classes and stuff. Here’s a link:
