In writing a speech, come up with a catchy beginning. Maybe a joke he told himself, maybe a joke others tell about him, maybe a joke about how he is perceived. Or maybe not a joke. Maybe a stark statement about what life would be like if he hadn’t done what he did. Millions more people dead, military rule, riots in the street, whatever.
