I need some algebra help?

x+ a = (b/3)x and b not equal to 3, x = ??

how do i solve this ?

x+a=(b/3)x try putting a 1 underneath the x and multiply which gives u…x+a=bx/3 and then cross multiply and get bx=3x+3a and then divide by b and get…x=3x+3a/b…if not get a tutor or a teacher..lol
