this depends on what type of child abuse you are talking about…. If you are talking physical abuse, signs may include, bruises on the child, not wanting to be touched by adults, keeping to self, non interaction, and what appears to be daydreaming.. Some children will become more aggressive and will mimic the behavior they are seeing by acting out, i.e, a child that has never hit before my begin hitting and screaming.. A lot depends on the child.

A child that is being sexually abuse may begin touching themself inappropriately in a group setting, or try to touch other children..
