Try fastweb.com for scholarships. Also, look on your college website to see if you can find any scholarships there. Loan wise it is best to go with either a bank or a credit union because most likely they will have the lowest rates. You may also want to contact your finical aid department because some schools have special loans that you can get through them.

Here are the steps you need to take:

1) Fill out the FAFSA. This will determine if you are eligible for financial aid. Go here:

http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

2) Once you are eligible for aid, choose a government-based student loan. The best loan to get is a Federal Perkins Loan. These have low interest rates and the government will help you pay it back as long as you stay enrolled in school. You also don’t need a cosigner or good credit for it. For more info go here:

3) The next best loan to get is a Subsidized Stafford Loan. This has many of the same benefits as a Perkins Loan. Learn more here:

4) You can also try to get a grant or scholarship, which is free money that you won’t have to pay back. Look here:

Before you get a loan and other crap you should talk to your school and see if you qualify for PELL or better know as FASA, Hope grant or hope Scholarship, then if that doesnt work, sometimes the companyes that you work for gives scholarships out. Like wal-mart.And becarful with loan read the small print. Some of them want the money paid back in full with in six months of you finishing college. Trust my I just finished my Accounting Degree.
