I’m need to take one pre-cal class in order for me to get admission into this university, what should I do?
I’m in a bit of trouble. I got admission into this University (UC Riverside) in California. I’m a transfer student. I got admitted on a provisional basis. I had to complete 2 English courses and 1 Math course. I completed the English courses, but the Math course I couldn’t. Some personal stuff came up, I got married!
My question is, I still have 2 months left before the fall quarter starts at that university. I checked all community/junior colleges in the area and all their courses are already in progress. It’s to late for me to sign up. Is there any way I can get a personal course, 1 on 1 with a teacher? I do have a learning disability, I have a severe case of ADHD and Anxiety. I really want to start at the univeristy this fall, I’am desperate. I can pay a good amount of cash, if I have to.
Thanks in advance guys

As for the actual class you are missing, I really have no clue besides talking the class at your new school. That is all up to whoever is in charge though. If it was explicitly said that you had to finish the course before the transfer, and you signed some sort of contract, then it mean you have to deal with what comes from not having done what was needed.
You can tell them about the classes you did complete. That way you show them your intentions of wanting to go to the school, and wanting to follow through with the agreement.
I really don’t think you can take the course individually. Is there any way you can take some sort of test instead? That way you can study and learn the material, but just get a passing grade through some sort of assessment at your new school.
Good luck!
