I’m looking into studying psychology or sociology in London, but come from a lower middle-class family.?

I’d like to be living pretty close to London, but my price range would be between about $30,000-$35,000 a year for fees and tuition. I live in MA, and my parents aren’t thrilled with the idea, so I need to be able to present them with some information that’ll put them at ease a bit. I got a 1590 on my SATs, and I’ve got about a B (85%) average in high school. I don’t really know the reputations of any of the schools in London, so if anyone could give me some suggestions it would be helpful.

How about gain your master’s degree in London, you know it only need one year. so i think at that time you may not have any problem about your finance. I think the education in USA is the world best, just finish your bachelor’s degree in USA and then go to London.

You can check the Times Good University Guide or the Guardian University rankings for which schools will be best. They aren’t perfect, but you’ll get some idea.

The cost per year will be about the same for a British university as an out-of-state public university in America, but a bachelor’s degree takes 3 years in England.

However, as already mentioned, you need at least 3 AP tests with at least a 3 (and maybe a 4 or 5 for some of the top schools) just to be admitted.

Most courses in the universities in the UK cost about 12,000 pounds or slightly more. That is basically about $25,000. However, if you want to study in London, you will probably pay more. You know what you can do? Go to wikipedia.com, THEN type in the search “List of Universities in UK” and click on the links below. This is what I did, anyways. I want to study in the UK too.

Then, find the list of schools in London, go on their sites, and look at what you’re qualified for on the international students page. Some of these pages will not include requirements for U.S students, so you must email the international department. You can apply using UCAS, which basically does all the work for you.

From what I know, a lot of the schools in the UK expect at least 3 AP classes with exam scores of 3 or higher.

And, you might want to take SAT II subject tests, because many schools look at that too.
