Do you want to move to another city when you graduate? If you do and you know which city then research the top companies in the city. For example in Seattle, Washington and vicinity you have 1) Microsoft, ( you will make better money with a college degree but there are ground up positions also and they do help you with education. 2) Starbucks, another great company with great benefits and you do not necessarily have to be a barrista. 3) Costco, another top company with many different positions

4) Boeing ( when they are doing well it is a fantastic place to work) 5) Cranium ( game makers) one of the top companies to work for with awesome benefits and I have heard that people do not leave once they start there)

I would relax because you have a few years but it is great that you are thinking about your future. Just do research on where you want to live and what is out there and then stick to it. The medical field is a great idea because most large companies will also pay for your 80% of your schooling if you can pass with a C or higher. There are so many opportunities waiting for you. Good luck in whatever you chose to do!

If you have two years of high school left and not sure what you want to do, don’t worry about it too much yet. Your main concern and priority should be getting the highest grades possible so you can then get into the college of your choice, one that will have the program or major you desire to go for.

Healthcare and education are the only fields that are recession proof and have greater job security and health care benefits. It may not pay as much as private practice jobs. But the jobs are more plenty and more secure.

so wait are you going to college? Say yes because jobs are starting to demand a college degree. Just do whatever makes you happy. Plus you won’t know now… you still have a long way to go. Just have fun in HS right now. ๐Ÿ™‚
