I have just got a crap report from school and I need to know what I should od when my mum reads it? Serious q!

or suck up completely, give it to her and then say i love you mommy.

or set it on her desk and run from the room, or the house, depends how bad it is.

some parents won’t mind though, depends on how busy your life is. and whether they ever see you doing schoolwork.

Maybe it will be enough to read and study those things on your own, in which case a list of books you WILL THEN READ over the summer is good.

If you need teaching in those subjects, I suggest you look into the possibility of summer school. I know a lot of kids that go to summer school just to get MORE credits under their belts, in order to do exceptionally well at school. If THEY can elect to go to summer school, just to learn, then I suspect you can to.

I guess it all comes down to how much you want to ensure that you have a GOOD future ahead of you, with a decent choice of careers once you are in the real world.

seriously though, honesty always melts hearts. Let’s face it they are going to go off more or less. Fact.

If you just be honest and at least take it on the chin i.e. “I was distracted in that subject ‘cos that’s where all my mates are” or “I hate the teacher, she doesn’t know the subject and I am always behind and confused”. Whatever the REAL reason is for the duff report. Look them in the eye and wear it…
