each teacher might ask something different, but this should cover the basics

-book covers. teachers <3 them -blue, black, and red ink pens -pencil -a binder or two (some teachers like you to have a seperate one for their class, but they usually dont care) -a calculater with the root sign on it if you are taking algebra, a graphing calculator if you are taking geometry. if you arent sure just get a standard one until you teacher lets you know, because they can be a bit pricey - paper. lots and lots of lined paper -something to write your assingments in, if your teachers dont post them online -some spare change is always handy anything else you want. a lot of girls carry around lip gloss, hand cream, make up, and purelle wipes (the wipes mostly because we have a lot of germaphobes at our school, because it is so freaking nasty). **Edit** backpacks are cool, but since you have to carry all your stuff around most girls bring a cute side bag that will fit their binders and stuff in them (like from american eagle, hot topic, vera bradley, ect)

The basics:

– a lot of loose-leaf paper

– a three-ring binder for each class

– pencils [I prefer mechanical]

– pens [usually blue or black and sometimes red; NOT gel pens; I prefer fine point]

– highlighters

– a lot of index cards

– calculator [model depends on what math you’re taking]
