I am a chinese students who major in petroleum engineering.what should I do to make my American dream cometrue

Fall inlove with an American, and marry them before your student visa expires… or at least fall in love and make an engagement to be married (you can return with a fiancee visa). If you can’t find a wife/husband… at least find a job before you graduate, then you can stay on a workmans visa… If you don’t have family in the United states that can sponsor you… you must find a wife/husband to become an American citizen.

Work, work, work. But the most important thing is to take your life one day at a time. It is important to know your eventual goal but also don’t forget about the details of each day. I will use college as an example, my goal is to be an aerospace engineer for NASA or a foreign equivalent, but my small goals are: finish this class, or this paper, or this math problem. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither are dreams. Patience and hard work, baby steps.
