How to write essay?

I will be high school Junior. I’m horrible writing essays and my first language is not English. I want to study in the US but my concern is my English writing skills especially essays. I know that essays include introduction examples and conclusion. What should I do to do better other than writing and editing it? I am really desperate to write better!! I have been reading a lot. How can I write implicitly and how should I write good introduction, and have smooth transition from one paragraph to another? HELP!

As the essay paper has evolved it has become more demanding with much more emphasis on posing questions which allow candidates to display the higher order skills. Professor Roy Wilkinson of Sheffield University has identified a pyramid of skills which A level examinations try to test.

The essay map, an optional part of an essay’s introduction, is often a helpful tool for writers and is sometimes a useful guide for readers. Fundamentally, an essay map is a listing of the major reasons, arguments, causes, or effects that will be discussed in the essay. At first, this notion may sound too “clunky” to be useful. For instance, if a writer provides readers with the following sentences…

OK first thing I do before writing an essay is writing down my ideas randomly and shortly. Then when I finish I try to organize my ideas into groups which will later will be used as paragraphs. As for the introduction write the paragraph giving only a general idea of the subject you want to write about. You can use the Internet or encyclopedia to get information but only write general ideas. For the conclusion only give a short summaries of all the subject writing only the most important results or recommendations. For the smooth transition from one paragraph to another you can do that after you organize your ideas into groups by deciding which idea must be first and which is the best one to follow it. I know this takes time but believe me not before long you will be an excellent essay writer 🙂 try it, it worked for me

You just did a better job on the above paragraph than many of the native speaker who are writing here. You only left out one word. It was smoothly written. I would never have guessed you were not born to English as your first language.
