how to mail a letter?
Favorite Answer
Mr. Joe Smith (name of person)
# and name of Street or Ave or Ct. or Pl.
State , Zip Code
Country name
If you are in US and want to sent it to US you don’t need the country name because it’s obvious with the State name and zip. If you don’t have a Street but a PO Box then replace it for the PO Box #.
In the upper left corner written a little smaller you write your name, under it your address, take another line under to write your state and zip, and another line for the country.
The stamps go on upper right hand corner of the front of the envelope. But postage varies according to the weight of the letter, so if you’re not sure how much it could be show up at the post office where they can weight your letter and put the right amount for stamps.
Post offices are not so difficult to find. Even small towns have a small post office. Inquire in your neighbourhood where it is located.
You didn’t say where you are so just in case you are in the Amazones then I really don’t know where the post office is!
