How old do you have to be to start training to be an EMT. In Princeton Indiana?

I believe you can start training at any time, but you cannot become a an EMT or a medic until you are 18. It has been a few years since I let my certifications go, but I believe that was the standard. A lot of younger people start early and join volunteer fire departments. I think you can get your first responder training before you are 18, which is very close to the beginner level of EMT.

I don’t know about there but we have a program in a high school here that when they graduate they are paramedics because they got all the training they need there
