How many Volunteer hours do you think I need for a good college?
I want to go to a good Ivy League college like Yale, and I was wondering how many volunteer hours do you think I should get. I already have everything else down(grades, classes).

I think 100 hours is a good goal. Many colleges now are asking students to complete that amount before graduating, so I feel it’s safe to assume that number would be impressive on an application. It shows dedication and and ability to work well with others.

As many as you can – dedication is good. It’s better to have 20 hours over a period of 5 weeks than 20 hours in a weekend. Showing you can commit to something and stick with it is a good thing to offer.
