It depends on how they count credit as the community college you go to but normally it is 60 credits which would nomally be two years of work.

It will depend on your major, but usually about 60 semester hours. If you go full time you take about 15 hours per semester for 4 semesters (2 yrs.) to get an Associate’s degree at a community college. Classes are usually the same length as in any other college, about 50 minutes. I honestly don’t know of any college that has classes that are shorter than this. If you have trouble concentrating, you might want to consider an online school–you can work at your own pace and take a break when you want. Good luck!

It varies depending on the program, but for an Associate’s Degree is usually between 60 and 70 semester hours. The program in which I teach requires 68 semesters hours of classes for graduation. Our school also has diploma programs which are about half that many hours, designed to be taken in one year.

If you are taking day classes you will usually have the option of classes which are 50 minutes 3 days a week or 1 hour 20 minutes twice a week. If you take evening classes they are often 3-4 hours once a week or 1 hr 20 min twice a week.

The types and lengths of classes depend a lot upon the major you choose. Some are longer lectures, some have labs, etc.

Most 2 year colleges offer classes from 50 minute to 1hr and 20min. A commuity colleges, if full time (12 or more), grant graduation in 2 yrs (usually taking 15 to 17hrs/wk).

yes… @ least an hour long classes. what a waste it would be to spend time getting to class to just turn around 30 minutes later.

don’t like hour classes? sounds like you are not ready for college.
