How I revise these sentences?

Ok My boyfriend Ted (33 yo) saw his ex girlfriend out and and he finally talked to her and got closure. Now he said he hopes maybe he can establish a “friendship” with her. I do understand hes happy he got closure but want to tell him that it bothers me that he wants to continue friendship with his ex. Cant tell him in person- he lives way from me right now (ut not for long)

OK want to reword this and tell him this in a note but dont want to sound jealous- just concerned for him. Please reword what I wrote any writers or people with good grammar thanks:

I am happy for you that u got closure u needed.He needs to let it be at that though. I dont want him to continue a friendship with ex because that should be his past now. I want to focus on our growing relationship.
