If sixth grade wasn’t hard then seventh won’t be either. Don’t be nervous, you’ll be fine.

Well, it’s harder than the sixth grade, but not as hard as the eighth. Seriously, there’s nothing to be nervous about if you passed from the sixth grade. Apparently, your grades are up to standard, or you wouldn’t have gotten this far. Is this your first year in junior high? In some areas, junior high begins with the seventh grade and goes through the ninth. Then you go to high school from there. When I went to school many years ago, we went from K to 8th grade, and then high school was considered 9th through 12th, but it’s a little different now. You’ll probably find that junior high is a bit more sophisticated than grade school, so you’ll need to make that adjustment. But as far as grades go, there’s a natural progression from one grade to the next, so you’ll gradually start learning at the point where you quit in the sixth grade. If you have trouble, which I really don’t think you will, you can always ask for additional help, which impresses teachers because they can see that you want to learn. As for the social aspect, try to make friends that have the same interests you have. I’m sure that once you get adjusted to the new environment, you will fit right in. Good luck, dear, and don’t be afraid. Learning is to be appreciated, and not feared.

As with anything in life, it is as hard as you want it to be.

If you are a motivated student who genuinely wants to learn, achieve, and excel, then you may elect to take some of the more challenging courses that are offered to you.

If you are indifferent, you may simply take the “standard” set of 7th grade courses.

Either way, if you want to perform well, you’ll study aggressively and try your best.

If you are uninterested in excelling, you will do the “minimum” and most likely get B’s or B-‘s.

Don’t be nervous. Your own motivations can carry you far or, your own lack of motivations can carry you nowhere.

One should never be afraid to achieve and excel.

Also,

One should never be afraid of failure.

Only you will know inside whether or not you gave your all to an undertaking.

There is a saying:

“If it does not kill you it will make you stronger.”

You should:

1. Always give 100% effort to your endeavors.

2. Never expect you will go through life without setbacks or disappointments.

3. Never fear setbacks or disappointments. Attempting to do something worthwhile is better than sitting around and doing nothing.

4. Learn from your eperiences, and grow stronger.

When trying to “make it” in the “real world,” pure intellectual knowledge is part of the equation. One’s attitude, approach, motivation, and dedication play huge roles in one’s success.

*******

If you think about it….if you fear the 7th grade now, wouldn’t you think you’ll fear the 8th grade, 9th grade, and so on?

Why live in fear?

Everyone one of your peers is experiencing the things, that alone should comfort you and help you relax.

Live life, enjoy life, PARTICIPATE in life. Don’t live in fear, of events nor failure at your attempts to live life in its fullest.

Good luck.

The actual work isn’t much harder than 6th grade. Colleges don’t start looking at you until 9th so if you do poorly it’s no biggie.

If you are going from elementary to Jr High then the only difference with that is more people and more vending machines. Changing class’s every couple hours is kinda cool because you only have to deal with an annoying teach part of the day.

Seventh grade was challenging for me. Sixth grade year was easy. I had straight A’s, and I was the smartest in the class. When I got to seventh grade, I had all straight C’s. I had gotton my first F on a test in math. I was so upset. But I had gotten used to it. Since now I’m about to be in 12th grade in high school, I was glad that the 7th grade was challenging and now I’m in honors classes. You just have to try your best so you can further yourself in the educational process and you can probably graduate as validictorian in high school one day…

It’s not that bad… unfortunately for me it was my worst year. Just stay on your work and don’t let no one distract you.
