Check with different media and ask that specific question. Many don’t require a degree, but the money is higher at entry level. My brother started in radio with a degree in history (I know, it has nothing to do with the media) and worked his way into a news director’s job. He also writes news articles for different newspapers in Oklahoma.
It depends on the media (notice how many lawyers are news anchors and reporters on television) and their needs.

Dude. relax. An engineer constantly needs a 4 year bachelors in engineering to start up paintings out of school. as long as you place attempt into your engineering instructions, have some good greater desirable curriculars, do some engineering internship paintings for the time of school, and prefer what you’re doing, then there is not any reason an organization would look down upon you. It seems such as you want to paintings and not do graduate/professional college. if it is the case, you do no longer could tension correct to the bull **** of academia purposes anymore. All you’re able to do is tell the organization why you would be an extremely reliable in wonderful condition for the corporation: sell your self. moreover, chemical/cloth/mechanical engineers are noticeably well-known those days in this financial equipment (i anticipate you’re in usa). you mustn’t have a controversy.
