How does anybody find the right college to attend? Do you look at those big four year colleges books at the bookstore? Do you take a tour of the colleges?

I suggest you start out by going to a community college. If you have to ask these questions, you are not ready to attend a 4 year college.

Several factors need to go into your decision.
1) What is your major going to be….find a college that is considered strong in that major
2) Your grades…find a college that will accept you based on your SAT’s and grade point average
3) Cost…find a college that you can afford…taking into consideration things like tuition…transportation to and from college…books….rent….etc.
4) Personal…find a college that fits your personality, rural/urban..etc.

do a little research about the school…see if that school has the major that you want…visit / tour the school…ask people who attended the school about it…but remember not everyone has the same experience about a school…your opinion about it might be completely different from someone else…
