How do you think Virginia Tech’s coming school year will be affected by this year’s tragic shootings?
lower enrollment?
negative stigma?
what else?

As far as a negative stigma, the school escaped without one and actually got the chance to show off its sense of community. Since I attend the school VT views as its biggest rival, believe me I would be aware of any impending negative stigma. VT’s recieved nothing but support from the other VA schools and from the nation at large.
Edit: Because their admissions cycle hadn’t finished until a month or two after the shootings. People still had plenty of time to withdraw their applications if they so chose. Since they didn’t at a time when people would be the most panicked about the shootings, that bodes well for the school.
