with an accent on the “see”
I saw them when they came through Kansas City and they were amazing. imo they are one of the best bands in the world, they blow everybody else away. the only problem is, most all of their songs are in icelandic!

Jón Ãór (Jónsi) Birgisson, Georg Hólm and Ãgúst Ãvar Gunnarsson formed the group in ReykjavÃk in August 1994.
Their name is taken from Jónsi’s younger sister Sigurrós, who was born the same day as the band was.
