How do you calculate your total GPA for your high school career?
I’m about to be a junior in high school and I want to figure out what my total GPA is so far in my high school career. The problem is that I have no idea how to do that. Do I have to add up my total GPA for 9th grade and 10th grade, then divide by 2 to get my total GPA?? Or is there some kind of other formula that you need to do. Please tell me how to do it, or show me the formula or w/e. K thanks! Appreciate it!

No special formula really. First cut out all your electives because those don’t matter, just use your core classes (english, science, math, history, foreign language) and add up the sum for all the core class you’ve taken so far. (I’m sure you know how it works, A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1 F=0) and then you divide by however many classes you used. Same as finding a mean. If you’ve got honors or AP classes though they might be based on either a 5.0 scale or a 4.5 scale depending on how your school does it.

You need to add together all your grades, then divide by the total number of classes.
