How do you become an events planner for fundraisers?
I’ve got a degree in psychology, bachelor of science. I do have fundraising experience but I would really like if there was a school or something to teach you the ropes of planning a fundraiser.

There are classes in public relations which talk about event planning; since you already have a degree, is there a university near you with a good extension program? Often they will have classes like this. Otherwise, a lot of the learning is on the job. I just downloaded an internship announcement for my students this afternoon for an event planning position.
