Most of statistics is generally common sense. However, the hardest part is knowing the formulas. Thus, I would strongly recommend the Princeton Review: AP statistics book. If you are short on time, go straight for the formulas and memorize them all and what they are used for. If you have plenty of time just go over the whole book. You need to know the formulas in order to calculate some specific statistic numbers such as standard deviation…and stuff, it is also beneficial to show what formulas you are using in your free response answers. AP Stats is actually very simple. I just took it and got a five on the exam. If it’s helpful, I used the book 5 Steps to a Five by McGraw-Hill Pub. Co. (Borders) to study. You should be fine though.

I didn’t buy any materials, but just listened in class. Listen to you teacher and memorize the way he/she tells you to write things. use the same language, because that is what grades will look for. Most formulas will be given to you on the “cheat sheets”
