how do i tell my parents i got kicked out of college?
i just finished my first year of college. after the 1st semester i was put on academic probation. after the 2nd…my gpa did not improve enough and i was kicked out. my parents already paid for my first semester next year and the college hasnt refunded the money yet but once it does they are gonna wonder whats going on. my only option now is to go to a community college by my house, which i dont see as bad but i know my mom will. i was thinking of telling them i transfered but that doesnt make sense…going from a good school to a community college. how should i break the news to them? time is of the essence…

well their going to find out eventually. it would be best to just tell them no before they wonder about it and think your dishonest. Just tell her that you think CC would be a better college than were you at now since you weren’t ready for a 4 year school.

I suggest you just tell them the truth now b/c they are going to find out sooner or later. Better it come from you than in the mail.

I would just be completely honest. They will find out eventually and you do not want that hanging over your head. It is unfortunate that you were expelled, especially since your parents were paying for it. I wish you luck.
