– research colleges for music. Find ones in your area, find prestigious colleges, and look for ones that have activities that interest you. Almost every college has a music department – so you can major in music performance and vocals at many schools. Find colleges you’re interested in that offer that.

– E-mail/call the music department, telling them about your interest. They’ll probably send you a packet of information about their school.

– From the research online/phone/mail you do, narrow down your search based on location, cost, and how well their major applies to you. Also, look for programs with children (many have daycares you can get incolved in), and narrow things down based on those programs.

– Visit the schools, talk to students & professors

– Do an overnight.

By the end of all that, you’ll have a good idea of where you belong and want to be!

I think your best bet, would be to attend a college fair. You could ask the guidance counselor at your school about where to find one. These events house different colleges and university reps. You go around from booth to booth and collect information about the schools.
