How can I get myself, in the mood to want to study?

If you don’t like what you’re studying, study something else. Easy.
But if you hate studying because you have to give up some of your free time, imagine yourself 5-10 years from now (might be hard but try to) if you continue as you are or if give up study altogether…. you need motivation, think more of what you want, and what it means to have it.
Have some study mates, come over and take notes and then you guys could play trivia or something… Ask each other questions and if you get it wrong, you have to do a dare or speak the truth or prank call someone on your phone list and say that you’re homosexual. OR each time you get a question wrong, you give up 50 cents or a dollar OR at the end of the trivia, tally up how many you’ve got right, whoever has the higher number wins the $50 pot or however much you want to put in (let’s say, 10 dollars per person and you’ve got 5 people you’re studying with)… It will inspire you and you won’t get bored.
You’ll learn to love studying…
Or get a friend as a study buddy and you can make a game and evening out of it. Example. Study a while then go do what ever you like and as your doing it quiz each other randomly. That way your out having fun and still studying…
Here are some good tricks that I learned along the way.
1. Take good notes—it activates a part of your brain that helps you remember
2. Participate in class—It will activate a part of your brain that helps you associate what you know.
3. Work ahead of schedule—this one will give you the most bang for your buck. It will give you time during the crunch session and to hone your edge and get your grade over the top—(I had a 3.77 GPA in college and a 2.87 GPA in high school)
4. Read daily—I swear—it makes you smarter.
hope you find a way 🙂
