How can I establish whether someone who claims to be a Medical doctor actually qualified as one?
This person ‘retired early’ (no longer practices)and calls himself ‘Dr’, and claims to have trained at Leicester Medical School in the 1970’s but doesn’t seem like or behave as a doctor should! I have checked the GMC Register but no record of this person. Is there any other way of finding info on-line?

If he is practicing in the United States, he should be licensed with the American Medical Association. I know this stuff cause my parents like searching on people.

Have you tried the BMA (British Medical Association)? They might be able to help.

I assume he is not American?
I think the only database for physicians is for the USA.
