how can i become a creative writer? i am a foreign student who came to america about two years ago…………

This is not my area of expertise and I am not that good in English either, but since nobody else answered, I decided to give you very general advices. Hopefully, some experienced English teacher will provide more useful advices.

Since perseverance is important, if I were you, I would pick the approach that is the most interesting to me (you). For example, if there are subjects that you like to read about, you might want to read what is written in English about those subjects. I am sure that reading a lot is very useful. Similarly, if you plan to become a writer, it must be that there are some subjects that you really care to write about. I would start to write about these subjects and present it to others. Of course, taking courses is always useful. However, my general advice is to listen to yourself, see what you really like because this is the key to success. Good luck!
