I agree, don’t worry about it. It won’t affect your chances for college admission, only the amount of college credit you can get. Don’t pay to have it rescored unless you think you made lots of errors or smudges in filling out the multiple choice. If you have it rescored there is only a very small chance of having your grade change because only the multiple choice is rescored, and the machines are pretty accurate in reading the answer sheets.

Not passing an AP test will do no damage to you. It won’t affect your grade in the class, or your GPA. You won’t be able to get college credit equivalency for that class. As for rescoring it, you need to see how close you were to passing. You should look on your detailed test report (I don’t think these come with the results anymore, I think you have to request them). If you were within 5 points of passing, have it rescored, otherwise, it’s probably a waste of money.

Don’t worry about it. I wouldn’t even bother getting it rescored. Most colleges dont take your grades unless you get a 5 anyway. I myself got a 3 on the AP Euro but I failed the AP US with a 2. Don’t stress over it =)

Different colleges have different minimum scores for credit. I wouldn’t pay to have it re-scored. Instead check with the university to see if you can test into a higher level class (e.g. skip the 100 level). You may might receive credit, but it could help you get through your course load faster.

Regardless of the scores, just taking the AP classes is a bug deal. You already have a leg up going into college.
