Hi! Which Education Is Better. Please answer:?
Favorite Answer
The “American” school, I assume is not in the United States and the “British” school is not in the UK – correct? Often these schools are NOT a reflection of what happens in schools in those respective countries so those who answer based on their experiences in home countries might be offering info that is not relevant.
Questions to consider: where will you go after this? What do you hope to do? Where will you live?
The British schools are well known for a ‘classic’ education with humanities and university prep. American schools are based, from my view, on preparing students for various levels of work.
GENERALLY, based on students I have worked with who have been associated with one or the other – the majority suggest that the British system is better received in applications for University.
Good luck and be sure to follow your passions – AND to smile and play and laugh!
1. If you are about to attend a Brittish school in Britain, make sure you can live far from home and take care of yourself.
2. Make sure you know exactly your ambitions so you won’t waste your money and then drop out (just a possibility!)
3. Think of the effects of British education on your future career that American schools can’t give you (which university you will apply for, whether you will work in the USA or in England, what job will you do, etc.)
4. Think if you can fit in well at the school. If you’ve chosen to study there, you should concentrate on your studies to have your money’s worth.
And don’t forget to discuss with your parents, teachers, best friends, and whoever you trust and respect.
Make a good choice and good luck from now on!
