Retake the class next semester and get an A. One F won’t ruin you, but if you retake it and make an A, it will help.

It is not natural to fail classes in college. You might want to ease up on your course load so you can spend more time studying. Also, make sure you are only taking 100 level classes your first semester. Those classes are designed for first time freshman. Good luck in the future!

I graduated last year from college. I know you’re not looking for a job now, but in the end, that’s why you’re ultimately at school. Retake any courses you fail or get D’s in. Only keep like 3 of your C grade courses. When an employer at a good firm or job looks at your transcript, they will specifically ask you why you got C’s in certain classes. I say study hard and accept nothing under a B. It’s not worth your time, unless you’re willing to work a mediocre job. If you’re putting 4 or more tough years in at school, why settle for less??? Some people do and it amazes me.

It’s not “natural” to fail a class. I failed a class my first semester at school, and my GPA is a 3.2 (graduating in Dec.). I took the class over, received a B, which replaced my old grade in my GPA. (My school does this for up to 3 courses). The original information is still on my transcript though.

One class wont destroy your college grades, but don’t make a habit of it.

You need to realize, this is NOT high school. The classes are only going to get harder, and you have to dedicate yourself more to your classwork. Don’t be too discouraged by this course, but keep it as a way to motivate yourself in the future. You don’t want anymore F’s on your record.

i’m taking 7 instructions stunning now (in regulation college). It sucks. I do no longer something yet homework: all day, all weekend. I merely watch for breaks (e.g. Thanksgiving) because of the fact it ability that i ought to have extra time to do homework (and much less examining to do because of the fact we are lacking classification). honestly, i do no longer pause till summer or wintry climate breaks. I do attempt, although, to take a minimum of sometime a month to do issues different than college appropriate stuff (e.g. laundry). And, needless to say, the occasional few hours blown on Yahoo. the super element is to p.c.. your self: determine which instructions you will ought to spend the main time on, and which of them you are able to spend much less time on (e.g. which professors assume you to heavily study the cloth and which books you are able to skim). i comprehend I won’t get A’s in each and every classification, so I p.c.. those i for my section desire a’s in and throw my capability there. If I went finished throttle on each and every classification, i might never sleep and at last have a worried breakdown.

Well I never actually got an F but the 50% I got on my 2nd year Calculus course was, I’ll bet, a gift. I pushed through and today I’m the one doing the marking since I’m a professor (though not of Calculus)

Good luck.
