as she is not so big and the age of learning prepositions, verbs havnt gone yet..

U knw wat some students of class 5th dont even knw abt them…

Listen just teach her in a very cool manner

bring her a book for that

give regular 10-15 min tests, make that lil interesting by adding something related to her for verbs, prep, nouns n all that so that she can learn while enjoying it..

Well, hon, most 8yo’s don’t know what prepositions are. They don’t normally learn that until 3rd-5th grade, because they really don’t need to know it until then.

Chances are, your 8yo sister knows what most 8yo’s know…she’s only 8! It’s ok! Promise 🙂

If she truly needs to know, tell her that prepositions are usually where things happen – I went TO the store…the squirrel ran UP the tree…the chair is UNDER the table. That sort of thing. She really doesn’t need to know this until later, though. It will make much more sense to her in 4th-5th grade.

8 yrs old? I didn’t learn about prepositions until the 8th grade. Try introducing them as something you can do to a table: you can be under, over, in front, behind, etc.
