Hello! Is the NEW SAT Math Section the same as in the old SAT? or did they add some more things?
meaning, do they still have the same types of questions or topics of the questions? and is the NEw SAT math section more difficult than the old one? I want to know the difference, THANK YOU. cheers

It’s different–they added a few questions on Algebra 2. Also, they dropped the tricky quantitative comparison questions–now it is all multiple choice and a few student produced answers. But these are about the only major differences. About the difficulty–I would say it’s easier because of the lack of quantiative comparison questions.

I read that there is no quantitative comparisons in new SAT math section. In other words, you do not have to answer questions with choices like the following:
a) A is greater
b) B is greater
c) bothe are equal
d) not enough information given
